Garden tours and nursery
A passion for beautiful countryside and plant collecting was the inspiration for ‘Country Farm Perennials’ – a Nursery and Garden Tours business run by RV clients and former teachers David and Merryle Johnston.
In 1986 when David and Merryle returned from six months travel in Europe, Merryle propagated seeds they’d collected and sold the plants at markets.

CLIENT PROFILE – SANDIE CATLEY
Singer / Performer
Sandie Catley has always loved music. Throughout her teenage years, music was her focus and she would lock herself away for hours transposing and writing songs. At 19 she met singer/guitarist, Peter Crewe. Their fold duo ‘Catley and Crewe’ performed successfully throughout Victoria for four years and recorded three tapes.
In the years following Sandie was involved in a number of groups and duos before developing her solo singing career. Sandie performs at private and corporate functions, weddings, wineries, clubs and hotels.

CLIENT PROFILE – KEVIN CARLIN
Producer, director and writer
A client of Ed Paterson, Kevin Carlin is a producer, director and writer of film and television in Australia. He’s directed some of our favourite programs, including Packed to the Rafters, Blue Heelers, Full Frontal, Fast Forward and more recently, the highly acclaimed miniseries, Molly. In multiple years, he’s been named in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Melbourne Age newspapers as being among the 50 most influential people in Australian television.

CLIENT PROFILE – ANN COISH & ERN BURROWS
B&B Hosts – Marysville
We often hear people say, “I’d love to run a B&B” though few actually go down that road. Two RV clients who made it a reality are Ann Coish and Ern Burrows.
Ann taught for 30 years – both in the Technical and Secondary Divisions. Seven years ago she and her husband Ern, together with another couple, bought a B&B property at Marysville. Their business partners worked the property and they visited as they could. Having now retired they find themselves involved at the property every weekend.
